Before Positiva Films, there was Open Road India — a 13-episode documentary series about the country's everyday people: Kumbh foot soldiers in Nasik, kite boys, puppeteers with a purpose, surfers in Puducherry, a cobbler in Amritsar. That instinct — find the person, earn the shot — is what this studio is built on.
